Owner of the Seattle Pie Company with her husband Patrick, Alyssa Lewis has a long history of baking pies, learning from some of the best pie makers in the Pacific Northwest.

After studying with originators, Liz Smothers of Julian Pie Company and Pamela Mack, longtime owner of Snohomish Pie Company, Alyssa is carrying on the legacy of her mentors in evolving the Seattle Pie Company, with the help of her dedicated husband.

"I have learned a lot about life through pie. I have been baking pies with my mentors for 14 years, Pam, now passed, and Liz, now in her 70's, are two very courageous women who have done an exceptional job of balancing motherhood, families and friendships, while running successful pie companies. It is my honor to carry on their legacy to the Pacific Northwest."

Alyssa, 28, grew up in Snohomish County, graduating in 2003 from the University of Washington with a double major in German and Communications.

Patrick Lewis, Alyssa's husband, is a local developer and residential homebuilder who grew up in Lake Stevens. He's now shifting gears from building houses to building his wife beautiful pie shops. He meticulously handcrafted the inside of the bakery cafe. Pine finishes, big display cabinets, slab granite and dark elegant floors are a few of the elements that make the Seattle Pie Company bakery cafe a unique and inviting place to enjoy a slice of pie. Patrick and Alyssa are passionate about delighting their guests with personal service and homemade pie and cafe offerings.
